Six years ago I took up painting as a hobby. With the encouragement of family and friends I began entering my paintings into various local contests and was surprised to discover others appreciated my artwork and was also pleasantly surprised to receive several requests for prints and commissioned pieces.
I spent my early years in Port Hope, then Stayner, Ontario, and at the impressionable age of nine travelled to Murrayville, British Columbia by train, in the fall, and was spellbound by at all the brilliant fall colors and waving fields of grasses; which may be why I have a fascination with Fall.

Why I created this site
I had been painting for several years, was giving paintings as gifts to family and friends and as things go slowly news travelled and suddenly others were clamoring for a view of paintings in progress, or wanted a painting for their own homes. By the time I decided, with much encouragment from family, friends and fellow artists, to create this site a good portion of paintings had been gifted to others, so, we presently only have a few works in progress for you to enjoy.
